Description


The sessions in this course outline the objectives and the recommended structure of delivering forest and historic environment key objectives. The course is designed to lead the delegates through the performance criteria which is based on the UK Forestry Standard Guidelines, Forests and Historic Environment. Delegates will gain and understanding of the key principles of UKFS forests and historic environment requirements for: Scheduled Monuments; Archaeological finds; listed buildings and structures; historic landscape character; historic features; historic context; historic context; evidence of the historic environment; forest planning; woodland heritage; open space; forest operations; site hydrology; access and interpretation.
